We are proud to have been part of the expansion project at one of the busiest border crossings between international countries in the world.  It is reported that over 10,000 commercial vehicles pass through this crossing each business day.  Precast was utilized due to the minimization of activity at the jobsite and the ease and quickness with which it is installed. 

The most impressive elements, provided by The Prestressed Group, were the forty – 90-foot long 1900 CPCI girders, each weighing up to 100,000 lbs.

 Many production, shipping, and installation obstacles were overcome due to the massive size of these components, as well as the tight access restrictions required in order to not disrupt traffic on the existing structure.
