Christmas is the traditional time for
giving, but employees at Prestressed Systems keep at it
year round. |

|
In addition to sponsoring
less-fortunate families during the Holiday season and
providing them with much-needed food, clothing, and toys
for their children, our Company, along with the employees, donates
to various charities throughout the year, including the
Canadian Diabetes Association, the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, the Downtown Mission, and others. The
company also matches funds donated to select charities. |

We adopt a different charity each
month and money is raised through sandwich breakfasts,
barbecues, specialty meals (St. Patrick's
Day, Pancake Day), raffles, and any other way we can
think of. Raffle prizes are
usually donated by the company or suppliers, including time off work
with pay. The company also
supports a breakfast programme at a local elementary
school and employees volunteer one day per week to set
up, serve, and clean up for the breakfast. They
also provide positive encouragement to the students as
they serve. |
